CLESOL 2012 Conference

Thursday 4 – Sunday 7 October 2012, International Pacific College, Palmerston North, New Zealand
The 13th National Conference for Community Languages and ESOL, brought to you by TESOLANZ (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages New Zealand) Inc. and CLANZ (Community Languages Association New Zealand) is being held in Palmerston North, New Zealand 4-7 October 2012.
The CLESOL conference provides opportunities to hear the latest research and trends in language teaching and learning from early childhood to adult education.
The theme of the conference is Emerging opportunities in new learning spaces: He akoranga hou, he huarahi hou. This reflects a variety of contemporary challenges that exist for both learners and their teachers, such as engaging in blended learning situations, integrating content and language, increasing intercultural interactions, and building relevant needs analysis and leadership models in different teaching/learning contexts.
